I'm curious with the wifi range with the Sony X3000. The Sony Ericsson LiveView uses Bluetooth connectivity to wirelessly pair up to a compatible handset and allows consumers to control the phone without taking it out of their pocket or handbag. One of the things I'll check is the range, both in high and low power setting, having regard for battery life of course. Since posting I've read up even more about the camera, and realised I could use it in more situations as well, so I've decided to buy one. Thanks Mark, I'm looking for unattended running and being able to monitor that's all ok from a distance of about 50 feet (max) indoors. So if anyone reports back on a range estimate, be sure to inquire whether that was under the low or high power wifi setting in the camera. The default is lower power (to conserve battery). I have not tested the range, but be aware that there is a menu setting in the camera to substantially increase the power of the wifi broadcast by the camera, doubling the range.
